Deserts are fun but need a different type of plants.
Instructions:
Set-up:
We recommend using a table cover such as the one in our video during all our crafts. This will protect your workspace. You can get this type of table cover in the party section of most department stores for a couple dollars.
Setting up your terrarium:
Take the glass fishbowl and place it in front of you
Add a layer of the activated charcoal using the plastic spoon
Add a layer of soil using the plastic spoon
Planting the succulent:
Make a hole in the soil big enough for the succulent
Take the succulent out of the plastic container
Give the bottom soil a small squeeze to loosen the roots of the succulent
Place the succulent in the terrarium
Personalizing your terrarium:
Place the pebbles on top of the soil
For more fun add plastic figurines like dinosaurs or princesses
Clean up:
Clean up any mess from planting and filling the terrarium
Wipe down and remove the table cover
Put away extra soil, charcoal, and pebbles
