Tissue Paper Earth
Here at Earthling Kids, we love our earth. We know that there is only one Earth and we need to protect it. Our mascot Avani the alien wants to become a good Earthling who helps the Earth. This week, we are going to help you make your very own Earth to help learn about conservation and the planet.

I love to conserve. We only have one Earth we need to learn how to help protect it.
Instructions:
Set-up:
We recommend using a table cover such as the one in our video during all our crafts. This will protect your workspace. You can get this type of table cover in the party section of most department stores for a couple dollars.
Cutting your tissue paper:
Take your green tissue paper and cut squares and rectangles and place them in a bowl
Take your blue tissue paper and cut squares and rectangles and place them in the other bowl
Making your Earth:
Take your paper plate and place it in front of you
Start putting glue on your plate to glue on the green tissue paper squares
As you place the green tissue paper squares, do so in continent shapes
Once all the continents are placed, glue the blue tissue paper squares and rectangles around them to form the ocean
Personalizing your Earth:
Use stickers or draw animals or people on the continents
For more fun make other planets so your learning companion, from week one, can travel to earth from their home
Clean up:
Clean any mess from making your Earth
Wipe down and remove the table cover
